چکیده
Conventional concrete mixes produced from naturally occurring aggregates offer benefits in strength, workability, volume stability and permeability, as well a wide range of properties. However, with increasing availability construction waste materials, such demolished broken glass, there is the need to explore feasibility using recycled glass replacement for natural crushed Portland cement concrete, determine their compressive tensile strength comparison conventional concrete. Concrete specimens varying percentages were tested strength. Six different designed study, percentage 0, 25, 50 75 by aggregate 1:2:4 mix. In total, 54 cubes cylinders cast split respectively. Recycled / found be good replacements production, although used mix was an important controlling parameter. With regard workability it that had similar characteristics mixes. Partially replaced showed variation between 15% 30% It recommended can utilised mass works structural members subjected low loads.

Concrete a composite material made from cement, water, fine aggregate and coarse aggregate. But present researchers are in interest of finding new cement materials by waste materials or waste products produced from industries which are harmful to environment. The present paper deals with partial replacement of cement with quarry dust and metakaolin which are having silica used as admixture for ...
متن کاملPerformance of High-strength Concrete Made with Recycled Ceramic Aggregates
Recent scientific concerns to achieve sustainability in construction have suggested the implementation of using recycled aggregate in concrete because it has the potential to reduce the demand for extraction of natural raw materials and decrease the volume of wastes landfilled. In this respect, this study aims to investigate the suitability of using ceramic tile (CT) and ceramic sanitary (CS) w...
متن کاملStrength Characteristics of Glass Fibre on Bottom Ash Based Concrete
Abstract: Bottom ash is a hazardous by-product from coal based thermal power plants. In this study fine aggregate in concrete mix has been replaced with bottom ash and glass fibre is additionally used to enhance the strength characteristics of concrete. The concrete mix design is done for M30 grade concrete. The mix is prepared for different combinations of 0%, 30%, 40%, 50% and 100% of replace...

cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...
Experimental Investigation on Self Compacting Concrete Using Quarry Dust
This study presents an experimental investigation on self-compacting concrete (SCC) with fine aggregate (sand) replacement of a Quarry Dust (QD) (0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%) and addition of mineral admixtures like Fly Ash (FA) and Silica Fume (SF) & chemical admixtures like super plasticizers (SP). After each mix preparation, 45 cubes specimens and 45 cylinders specimens are cast and cured. The sp...
